Mt. Ian Campbell (10,615 ft.)

"Named for Dr. Ian Campbell (1899-1978), Chief of the California Dividsion of Mines and Geology, state geologist, and first chairman of the California Advisory Committee on Geographic Names. Campbell did geologic investigations on the peak and the surrounding area. (BGN decision, 1982.) The peak is not named onte h Kaiser 15' quad [but it is named on the 7.5' topo]. It is in the lower right corner, 2 1/4 miles east-southeast of Mt. Givens."
