The Miter (12,762 ft.)

Named by Chester Versteeg in 1935

"A name suggested by Chester Versteeg in the 1930s because the mountain's shape looks like a bishop's headdress. (SC papers in BL.) The name appears on the Mt. Whitney 30' map in 1937"
