Sharktooth Peak (11,660 ft.)

Named by T.S. Solomons in 1892

Also Lake, Creek

"The peak was named by Theodore S. Solomons in 1892 for its shape. (Farquhar: Solomons.) 'Sharktooth Peak' was mislocated on the 15-minute quad. The peak it was applied to is now named 'Cockscomb.' On the 15-minute quad, the correct Sharktooth Peak is 0.8 mile north-northwest of Silver Peak, on the Silver Divide. (BGN decisions, 1969.) The lake and creek were first named on the 15-minute quads."
